Tanzanian singer and songwriter born Mbosso have released a new track titled “Ozalima”. Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi, better known as Mbosso Khan delivered a smooth and melodious hit worth listen to. According to the title, “Ozalima” is a Hindi-Urdu word that means “Oppressor,” better put, “O Cruel One,” or “O Tyrant.”
In the song, Mbosso calls his lover “Ozalima” because her beauty drives him crazy. It confuses his mind, disrupts his thoughts, and makes him dream without order. His love feels heavy “like tons in weight” symbolizing how deep and intense his emotions are. The song showcases his love for the Bongo Flava sound that blends Swahili lyrics with infectious rhythms.
